Xiaomi QiCycle Electric Folding Bike

Recently Xiaomi launched a new Folding Bike which is different than normal folding bikes. The QiCycle which is the name of this folding is electric and can assist you when riding bike and includes a lot more features.

Looking at features and price, the Mi QiCycle Electric Folding Bike certainly seems like a good deal. For 2,999 yuan which are 410 Euros, users get a bike that can assist the rider's pedaling for 45 kilometers on a single charge, and comes with a companion app for both Android and IOS users that logs your distance, speed, GPS location, calories burned, and more. The QiCycle also comes with the Shimano Nexus three-speed gears, folds down into a nicely compact package that weighs 14.5 kilograms, and has front and rear lights built into its own frame.

It is not yet clear if the QiCycle Electric Folding Bike will be built by Xiaomi itself. Earlier this year, the company launched the QiCycle R1 which is a more high-end bike and uses many of the functionalities found on the new QiCycle Electric Folding Bike. The QiCycle R1 was was developed by startup iRiding (a company Xiaomi has invested in) and was much pricier, costing around $3,000. Some outlets have reported that the Electric Folding Bike is also built by iRiding, and although Xiaomi hasn't confirmed this, they did say that the bike was built by one of their partner companies.
